Functional Medicine

This type of medicine focuses on the root cause of disease. We look at many symptoms and try to find a common cause of the symptoms, rather that treating each symptom with a different medication. Functional medicine is a type of “whole body” approach to medicine. It often requires extensive laboratory testing, patient interview, and a large focus on diet. This type of medicine, while great for everybody, is really the best type of medicine for decreasing the burden of chronic disease.

Regenerative Medicine

Regenerative uses natural methods to stimulate the bodies natural healing properties.  Regenerative medicine is used in orthopedics and in aesthetics, to help the body heal and return to a younger state of being.  Kore Regenerative Medicine uses stem cells, platelets, exosomes, and prolotherpay injections to induce collagen formation and heal injured tissues.  These treatments can improve symptoms of arthritis and decrease pain.

Osteopathic Manipulations

Osteopathy views the body as having an innate ability to heal itself. Osteopathic manipulations are used to alleviate pain and realign the body, in order to optimize natural healing. There are many different types of osteopathic manipulations that are used during a single session. Most osteopathic manipulations are very gentle and subtle, but make a big difference in the overall functioning of the musculoskeletal system.

IV Therapies

IV therapies are used for a multitude of ailments. IV vitamins (Vit C, B complex, B12, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and more) boost your immune system and decrease free radical formation in the blood, thereby decreasing cellular aging. IV vitamins will help decrease cold symptoms and help you return to feeling well more quickly than oral vitamins alone. They are used to help maximize athletic performance, and help the body recover more quickly after a stressful event. IV vitamins are good prior to flying and after a heavy night out on the town.

Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin, are injected into muscles of the face, in efforts to decrease wrinkles and give the face a younger appearance. These neurotoxins last anywhere from 2-3 months, and are considering a minimally invasive procedure. Fillers (Juvaderm, Restylane, Beltero, Radiesse) are used to decrease the deeper lines of aging. Fillers are used for facial contouring, to enhance lips, cheek bones, temples and more. Depending on the location applied, and the type of filler used, fillers can last for up to 2 years, and can even stimulate your body’s natural collagen production. Platelet Rich Plasma used via injection or microneedling helps to naturally boost collagen production and decrease signs of aging.

Bioidentical Hormones

These treatments are appropriate for both men and women.  Hormones are used to prevent disease of aging, such as cardiac disease, osteoporosis, and colon cancer. Hormones are also good for treating symptoms of aging such as fatigue, muscle loss, decreased libido, weight gain, depression, and generalized aches and pains. At Kore Regenerative Medicine, Dr. Quinn will do extensive laboratory work to evaluate your need for bioidentical hormone therapy. Bioidentical hormones are considered an “anti-aging” form of medicine, in that they decrease both mental and physical signs of aging, to help you feel and look like your younger self.
